Constructed in the picturesque Catoctin Mountain region, Maple Run has supplied many wonderful memories in its over 30 year existence. Purchased in 2023 by current owner, Jeff Barber of Thurmont, Maple Run continues to offer quality golf to local and visiting golfers alike.
In close proximity to Camp David, Maple Run was once a favorite destination of President Bill Clinton during his time in office along with many movie star and producer guests such as Steven Spielberg and Chevy Chase.
In 2004, the course was used for the filming of the popular TV show The West Wing. As you play, walk the same greens as Martin Sheen, Richard Schiff and other members of The West Wing cast.
Over the years the course has opened its doors to a number of golfers from all walks of life. From celebrities to politicians; first time golfers to child prodigies, Maple Run is truly a course for all to enjoy.
